Welcome to my website. I am a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Iowa. I specialize in international relations, comparative politics, and quantitative analysis. My research attempts to understand the factors that facilitate international cooperation in matters of human rights and development. I am also interested in the impacts of international institutions at the international and domestic levels.
My research is published or forthcoming in International Interactions, Korean Observer, Korean Journal of International Relations (KCI), Journal of International Politics, etc.
I also enjoy teaching a lot. I have instructed courses in International Relations and comparative politics. I was awarded annual excellence in teaching award in 2018.
