Welcome to my website. I am an Assistant Professor in the Political Science department at Texas Tech University. I received my Ph.D. degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa in 2021, specializing in international relations, comparative politics, and quantitative analysis. My primary research agenda focuses on the factors that facilitate international cooperation in non-traditional security issues, such as human rights, development, environment, etc. I am also interested in the relationship between international cooperation and domestic politics.
My research is published or forthcoming in Foreign Policy Analysis, International Interactions, International Area Studies Review, etc.
I also enjoy teaching a lot. I teach undergraduate courses in International Relations, comparative politics as well as a graduate course in research methods. I was awarded annual excellence in teaching award in 2018.
